Overview
The Bophelo Ba BachaApp is a mobile app and whatsapp chatbot providing Sexual and Reproductive Health (SRH) and HIV information for Adolescent and Young People in Lesotho. The App is operated by the Ministry of Health, Lesotho in collaboration with iCAP at Columbia University.
App Objectives.
- Providing accurate, unbiased, and culturally relevant SRH information for AYP.
- Empowering young people to make informed decisions, potentially leading to:
- Fewer early & unintended pregnancies
- Decreased gender-based violence & child marriage
- Safer health choices
